Simone’s journey began with professional training at The London School of Contemporary Dance, leading to a successful career as a dancer and actor in West End theatre and television. She later transitioned into arts management and production, working with organisations including National Youth Theatre, Northern Ballet, Yorkshire Dance, and many more. Her work focuses on producing projects and supporting artists that enrich the cultural ecology of the region.
Simone is deeply committed to community engagement. She is an associate artist with Dark Horse Theatre and Hoot Creative Arts, and lectures at institutions including E15 and Guildford School of Speech and Drama. Her work extends beyond the studio: she is a freelance grant assessor for the Leeds Cultural Investment Programme and serves as a dance consultant for the Leeds Dance Partnership.
With a passion for work that inspires creativity and provokes meaningful discourse, Simone brings a diverse skillset and unwavering commitment to artistic excellence. She continues to make invaluable contributions to the wider cultural landscape.
