the sasolo story
driving financial creative & cultural equity since 2010

built from experience
Sasolo began with me, Saskia Coburn, a literature student turned choreographer with 25 years’ experience across the UK arts landscape. After two decades working in West African music & dance, while also developing arts strategies for national charities, I saw first-hand how hard it is for artists to access the support that’s available. In 2010, I set up Sasolo to help change that.
grown through trust
What started with a few artist clients grew quickly. Each success led to another introduction, another project. I built a reputation for understanding both individuals & institutions, translating creative ideas into clear strategy, structure & funding. As the organisation grew, I brought in a team of consultants with exceptional writing skills, diverse knowledge & strong creative empathy.
focused on impact
Since then, we’ve supported 1000s of clients, from graduate artists to national music services, raising over £15 million in 2023–2024 alone. We work with you on fundraising, strategy, development, mentoring, evaluation & structure, equipping you to move forward with clarity & confidence.
