Jacqlyne Titus-Neill

Jacqlyne is a leader, artist, facilitator and change maker whose medium of choice is theatre and education. Jacqlyne is currently a Drama and Theatre studies educator in a High School where she has been working full time for the last 7 years. She most recently also worked part-time with University of Johannesburg’s Arts Academy where she designed and developed their performance curriculum.

In 2023, she worked with the South African Playback Theatre Association as conference administrator to host the first ever International Playback Theatre Network conference on African soil.

Previously a lecturer of Applied Drama and Theatre and Project Manager at Drama for Life a postgraduate division within the Wits School of Arts she was responsible for running their training and education programmes. In 2018, she completed her master’s degree in applied drama and theatre focusing on education, youth and community development. She is a trained facilitator where she makes use of interactive and experiential tools for social dialogue, education, and personal transformation.

She has been using her expertise to encourage personal storytelling as a means of self-awareness, confidence, and resilience training. She believes that embodied, interactive, and experiential work is a powerful medium through which we can explore the essence of humanity and what it means to be human in an ever-changing world.
